- Acknowledge Your Attachment
The first step in letting go is acknowledging what you’re holding on to. Is it a painful memory? An expectation that has gone unmet? A fear that you can’t shake? Take a moment to reflect on what you’re holding onto and why it’s no longer serving you. - Practice Self-Compassion
Letting go is often tied to self-forgiveness. Be kind to yourself and acknowledge that it’s okay to make mistakes. Self-compassion helps us release the guilt and shame that keep us bound to the past, allowing us to move forward with a lighter heart. - Release with Gratitude
Letting go doesn’t have to be a painful process. In fact, it can be a beautiful moment of gratitude. Take time to thank the experiences, people, or lessons from the past that helped shape you, then gently release them with a sense of peace and understanding. - Mindful Breathing to Let Go
